I try to think
Of ways of putting
Words together
To show only
An ounce of what
I feel.
But now I see,
in doing so,
I diminish the power
that the simple words hold.
So though I will
never stop
trying to
express my love,
every poetic line
is just a decorated branch off of
the deeply rooted
"I love you
I love you
I love you."
